What is TETPC?

The goal of the Texas Educational Technology "Group" Purchasing Consortium (TETPC) is to create statewide buying power for Texas school districts so that all schools can have the opportunity to purchase online resources at a large-volume discounted price.

Group Purchasing Advantages

Saves Money

  • Provides volume discount pricing for commonly used online resources
  • Provides an opportunity to build large-group purchasing power
  • Provides a single source for multiple online resources

Saves Time

  • One source for review and selection of multiple online resources
  • One source for pricing and information
  • One source for assistance
  • One source to arrange for training

Saves Paperwork

  • One Interlocal Agreement to ESC Region XI instead of paperwork for multiple vendors.
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) process or sole-sources selection process completed by ESC Region XI
  • One district order for each resource purchased
  • One location to send all purchase orders: ESC Region XI

Do You Require an RFP?

ESC Region XI has complied with the legal RFP process or secured sole source certification for all vendors. Districts who wish to purchase through the TEPTC program may need to sign and return the Interlocal Agreement to ESC Region XI with the district purchase orders. It can be printed from the links below.

If your district is a member of the Educational Purchasing Cooperative of North Texas (EPCNT), you do not need to sign an Interlocal Agreement. ESC Region XI has signed an Interlocal Agreement with EPCNT that allows all participants in that cooperative to purchase electronic information resources through ESC Region XI.

Is your district a member of EPCNT? Check here:

If your district is not a member, download these forms:
